Mavis goes Wacken
Rain, mud and Mavis in the middle of it all

True metalheads can't be deterred from making the pilgrimage to the world's biggest metal festival in the north of Germany by a bit of "weather".

And we were there again: at the Wacken Open Air 2023, from 2 to 5 August. Our Packard-Bentley "Mavis" more than worthily took over from Brutus and fired up the headbangers, including grilled sausages.
