A very special highlight at the Technik Museum Speyer are the experience tours on the submarine U9 and the rescue cruiser John T.Essberger. Former crew members return to their former workplaces time and again to talk about their everyday life at sea with enthusiasm and pride. For fans young and old, technology comes to life when former crew members provide fascinating insights into the challenges on board and the impressive technology of their former workplaces. These tours are not only educational, but also emotionally moving - a rare opportunity to experience history at first hand. Next year we'll be back and remember: the John T. Essberger is celebrating its 25th anniversary with us in Speyer. There will be a surprise or two for this occasion.
