Europe as a guest in the space hall

On 19 March, we had the honour of hosting a special event in Speyer. The non-profit organisation Salon Diplomatique e.V. invited diplomats and representatives from business and society to a lecture by the then Consul General of the USA, Mr Norman Thatcher Scharpf, in the space hall of the Technik Museum Speyer, followed by a dinner. The unrivalled atmosphere of our exhibition provided an inspiring setting for this event.

The Salon Diplomatique e.V. is committed to promoting an international mindset, tolerance in art and culture as well as development co-operation, science and research. It was a great pleasure and honour for us to welcome these high-ranking guests. Our Museum President Hermann Layher took the opportunity to explain some of the exhibits to the Consul General in person.
