Every two years, the time has come: our extensive cleaning campaigns ensure that the aircraft on display shine in new splendour. Because our Concorde F-BVFB and the Tupolev Tu-144 in Sinsheim as well as the Boeing 747 in Speyer are more than just exhibits - they are living witnesses to aviation history. In order to preserve them for future generations, we attach great importance to the careful care and maintenance of our collection.
The weather of recent years - snow, sun and rain - has left its mark. A fine veil of dirt and moss covered our legendary ‘super birds’. But thanks to this cleaning programme, they will soon shine in brilliant white again and are ready to continue to convey the fascination of aviation!
