Bertha Benz ride
A rolling museum on a historic route
At the end of July, we were once again able to welcome an extraordinary drive in Sinsheim: the legendary Bertha Benz drive. This special event captivated participants and spectators alike. Our museum in Sinsheim was already the starting and finishing point of this unique classic car event in 2023, and this year's drive was once again an unforgettable experience.
With 45 magnificent and rare vehicles, all built up to 1930, the Bertha Benz Fahrt was transformed into a rolling museum that brought the history of the automobile to life. The impressive treasures included a Duhanot CG from 1907, a Franklin SR10B Tourer and a Locomobile Speed Car - each a jewel of the art of engineering. The oldest vehicle in the field was particularly astonishing: a Leon Buat from 1903, which proudly led the drive with starting number 1 and made the hearts of the spectators beat faster.
This extraordinary event was organised by the Allgemeiner Schnauferl-Club e.V., which once again proved how fascinating and lively automotive history can be. The spectators along the route were thrilled, while the participants proudly celebrated the pioneering days of the automobile.
